Rudy Giuliani is at odds with Beyonce once again.

This time, the former mayor of New York (who previously criticized the singer’s Super Bowl performance of “Formation”) said he has done more to save black lives than Beyonce and the Black Lives Matter mothers turned activists who shared the spotlight with her on Sunday night at the VMA awards.
The singer — who brings her “Formation World Tour” back to the Georgia Dome on Sept. 26 — appeared on the VMA red carpet with the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Oscar Grant III — the men whose deaths helped launch the Black Lives Matter movement.
During her performance of “Formation,” dancers dressed as angels fell were bathed in red lights before falling to the ground as if they had been shot.
“Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt showed Giuliani a clip of Bey’s performance to which he replied that as mayor of New York City he had reduced crime (and homicide in particular) by 75 percent which saved about 4,000 to 5,000 black lives through policies he put in place — something no one had done in three decades before his mayoral reign.
Giuliani, who notes that he has many family members in law enforcement, is no fan of the Black Lives Matter movement.
After Beyonce’s Super Bowl half-time performance in February, Giuliani said the “Formation” singer wasn’t catering to middle America and suggested that her performance was not decent or wholesome.
